After working all day and then making your way through dinner, bathtime AND bedtime, you deserve nothing more than to sit on the couch, with a BIG glass of Cab Sauv and watch a little must see TV! Here are 5 shows we’ll be watching this Fall.
Curb Your Enthusiasm
He left. He did nothing. He returned. And along with his return comes the awkward silences we’ve grown to love. Following a six year hiatus – must be nice having that Seinfeld money! – Larry and the usual cast of characters return to the cringe worthy, perfect humor of Curb Your Enthusiasm. With his lack of filter and disregard for social norms (sound familiar, toddler mamas?) even the most mundane of his daily tasks will make you LOL. Somehow missed the previous eight seasons? Binge now and thank us later – HBO Go and Amazon streaming. New episodes start October 1st.
This Is US
Scrub off the mascara and cue the tears, with or without the mom hormones, every episode is an emotional roller coaster. On the heels of their Emmy success, This is Us returns to prove that season one was no fluke. With plot twists, time jumps and questionable old lady make-up on Mandy Moore, this is our favorite family drama since the days of 7th Heaven and Parenthood. The first new episode was this past Tuesday on NBC.
Will & Grace
Clearly we weren’t the only ones that thought comedies were better back in the day. The stars of Will & Grace have returned to the Upper West Side in the roles they were born to play after a tearful goodbye eleven years ago. The new season premieres tonight on NBC. We can’t wait for Just Jack 2017!
It’s hard to believe that Kerry Washington’s run as Olivia is coming to an end. While we may not be as obsessed with Scandal the way we once were (the will-they, won’t-they drama could only go on for so long), we will certainly be tuning in to see how it all ends. If for no other reason, we can continue to gawk over Olivia’s near perfect wardrobe.
We didn’t watch the soap opera Dynasty during its run in the 80s but as soon as we saw that the reboot was being made by the creators of “The OC” and “Gossip Girl” we knew we’d have to tune in. Send your husband away – we have a feeling this is going to be one of those guilty pleasure/stupid fun shows you love to watch solo. Dynasty premieres on the CW Wednesday, October 11th.
