Margot was born in July and her Aunt Allison got engaged only 4 months later, so she was basically waiting to be a flower girl her whole life. Because Aunt Allison is really cool (so cool that we actually call her “Cool Aunt Allison”) she let us pick out a dress for Margot that we loved. We waited till the wedding was only a few months away to order because as you know babies grow SO much in their first year! Allison’s wedding to Uncle Mike was one week after Margot’s first birthday so we ended up going with a size one and did not need any alterations. When scouring the internet for flower girl dresses, I found there are a lot of duds out there but we eventually settled on a dress from Tutu Du Monde (the cutest dress line for little girls who wish they were fairies or moms who are living out their ballerina dreams through their daughters).
If your little one is lucky enough to be in an upcoming wedding, we have rounded up some of our favorite flower girl dresses as well as a few shots of Margot in her Tutu Du Monde Dress. All wedding images are courtesy of Trent Bailey Studio.
