And guess what, they are as equally gorgeous as they are effective to kick your butt, de-stress and bounce back to that pre baby/pregnancy weight. And if old wedding photos aren’t enough of an incentive, we know our workout picks will do the trick. Whoever thought yoga was boring has it all wrong as Reyn power yoga classes are anything but a yawn fest. Get moving, sweat and connect to your mind and body with their fast-paced style accompanied with great music to stay motivated. Worried about the 93 degree heat? They offer 75 degree classes if you are looking for a chiller pace. BONUS: On Fridays at 10:30am, babies under 6 months/not crawling are invited to join too!
Hour Blast @hourblast
If you are looking for a high intensity interval workout and don’t mind running, Hour Blast is your spot. Definitely the “Barry’s Boot Camp” (popular and celeb fav) of New Orleans. This full body workout has multiple locations (Uptown, Metairie, Lakeview & Downtown) and will surely help you shred the pounds quickly—getting your booty back to tip top shape.
Free To Be Power Yoga @freetobenola
Be prepared to sweat from head to toe and kiss your stress buh-bye with this lovely community studio offering power style yoga. You will leave feeling super restored and centered (especially with their ice cold, refreshing eucalyptus oil soaked face towels during shavasana), while burning mega calories. BONUS: Look out for their kids yoga classes too!
